Established in 2008, the Geotechnical Society of Singapore (GeoSS) is a member society of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and the Association of Geotechnical Societies in Southeast Asia (AGSSEA).
The administration of GeoSS is entrusted to a Committee consisting of the following to be elected at alternate Annual General Meeting: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 7 Committee members. The term of office of the Committee is two years. All Committee members must have at least 5 years relevant experience in geotechnical engineering research or practice.

I am honoured to be elected as President of the Geotechnical Society of Singapore (GeoSS) for the term 2024-2025.
GeoSS has a rich history of promoting excellence in geotechnical engineering, and I am committed to building upon this legacy, supported with the foundation of our great past presidents and the wisdom of esteemed committee members. I envision a future where we continue to advance the field through knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development opportunities.
